Naname-style Classes

Naname taiko is played on a slanted stand. Naname is just one of the styles of playing taiko. Korabo is offering a four-week set of naname classes in October.

All classes run from 10:30 am – 12:30 pm. First time students, please arrive about ten minutes early.

What to bring

comfortable cover-toed shoes
comfortable clothes
optional: pen and paper for note taking

We will provide you with drum sticks (bachi) as part of your enrollment fees.

Our naname classes are designed for students eight years and older.

Classes are limited to a twelve-student occupancy and are filled on a first sign-up, first serve basis. But we will be offering classes throughout the year, so please check back in with us for a comprehensive annual schedule.
