Saturday, April 18, 2015, the Clark County Children’s Festival will return to Winchester Cultural Center & Park. The Children’s Festival has continued as an annual spring event for 22 years. This year’s Children’s Festival will run from 10 am – 3 pm. Admission is free, and the many free activities include ongoing dance and music performances, arts and crafts, a Korabo performance and workshop, and carnival games as costumed characters stroll the park. Every year, the Children’s Discovery Museum celebrates Asian Pacific Islander heritage month and for the past two years Korabo has had the privilege of performing for the guests of the museum. For the third year in a row, Korabo will be returning to the Children’s Discovery Museum for two performances and a workshop. Our first performance happens at 1pm, our workshop at 145pm, and our encore performance is at 3p. Admission is free!

Japanese Culture Day
The National Atomic Testing Museum invites you to delve into Japan’s captivating civilization during their Japanese Culture Day from 10:00am to 3:00pm. Admission is free for museum members and $5 for non-members. Japanese Culture is part of the museum’s 70 Years of Peace Series of events taking place in August that celebrates the long-lasting friendship between the United States and Japan. Korabo will be welcoming guests into the museum with an outdoor performance at 11:00am and then will have an encore performance inside the museum at 1:00pm. Working with the Japan America Society of Nevada and the Office of the Honorary Consulate of Japan, the museum hopes to shed light on the real Japan and hopes to see you there.

On Saturday, Oct. 3, 2015, Las Vegas’ top hospitality and business executives, chefs and community leaders will gather for “Rockin’ on the Strip,” the fourth annual fundraiser for Las Vegas Business Academy, founded in 2011 by Rino Armeni. The event will be held this year at Bamboo Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in an effort to raise scholarship funds for University of Nevada, Las Vegas students pursuing a law degree or masters degree in hospitality or business. Korabo is happy to be invited back to perform at this great benefit.

This highly-anticipated annual event raises funds for St. Rose Dominican’s R.E.D. Rose program, which provides free clinical breast exams, mammograms, ultrasounds, surgical consultations and biopsies to women and men 49 and younger who lack adequate health care coverage or the financial means to obtain them.
