Bryan’s Amazing Collapsible Okedo

Back in October, Bryan Yamami (of TaikoProject, LA) and Korabo’s Dave discussed creating a collapsible odaiko shell for an okedo. Many weeks and emails later, Dave finalized a digitized draft of the project and got to work on crafting the monster: a 36”-diameter redwood shell, painted a glossy black. TaikoProject applied Asano Taiko heads to the shell with purple polyester rope and then this black beauty toured North America with TaikoProject.
