Asian Harvest Moon Festival @ Springs Preserve, Sept 28

The Springs Preserve will celebrate one of the world’s most time-honored holidays with food and live entertainment at the fourth annual Asian Harvest Moon Festival. Observed by numerous cultures throughout Asia, the Moon Festival is an occasion for family and friends to reunite for lantern parades and to eat moon cakes, the festival’s traditional food. The festival will feature cultural demonstrations, food, crafts and live entertainment, including performances by the Lohan School of Shaolin, Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko, Korabo Taiko, and Nani Ola Hawaiian Dance Company. The event runs from 11am to 5pm and Korabo will be performing at 1230pm. Admission is free for Springs Preserve members, $9.95 for adults, and $4.95 for children.
